For the moment, only a module is being developed, the netbeans startup settings module. You can see an screenshot and more detailed description

For instance to do an anonymous checkout, you must have subversion client installed, then invoke this command line:

svn co --username anonymous --password anon http://svn.javaforge.com/svn/netbeans-modules/trunk/nb-settings nb-settings

That will do a checkout of the mais trunk. For this moment, there is not an NBM file available yet.
